Ghana · Food Packaging · Food Cap Assembly Machine
For a customer in Ghana, we supplied a rotary assembly machine for two-part food caps — one job, two caps. The videos from this job show two quite different caps being assembled: a plain white cap, and a purple screw cap with a ribbed side, each held up to the camera after assembly. At the centre of the machine is a star wheel, a round plate with pockets cut around its edge; each pocket carries a cap past the stations mounted above the plate, where the two parts are joined. Clear round parts travel in along a guided track, and finished caps leave on a black conveyor belt. The machine is set from a touch screen, with an emergency stop button and a green start button beside it. It is matched to a 10-cavity mould, so its speed is set by the mould: about 1,200 caps an hour. What we supplied is now in production at the customer's plant in Ghana.
Configured for one customer's parts, as each of our assembly machines is. Send us your drawing or photos and we will tell you if we can assemble your parts, and how quickly.
