An aerosol spray actuator is a small part, and this one is made from five pieces. For a customer in Pakistan, we supplied a machine that assembles all five on one rotary table. A vibratory bowl feeds the parts into the machine; around the table, each actuator stands upright in its own fixture, and pneumatic grippers above the table pick up the next piece and set it in place as the table indexes — each actuator comes together one station at a time. The machine runs from a touch screen with push buttons mounted beside it, rated at 4,200 finished actuators per hour. The video follows every step: the bowl, the grippers placing each piece, the white actuators standing in their fixtures as they move round the table. This machine is now at work in the customer's own production.
