Brazil · Food Storage Containers · Lid and Seal Ring Assembly Machine
In an airtight food storage container, the seal ring sits inside the lid. For a customer in Brazil, we supplied a machine that fits that ring into each lid, set up to link with the injection moulding machine. A gantry with suction cups picks up the lids and transfers them to two pressing stations working side by side, where each ring is pressed into its lid; finished lids leave the end of the machine in neat stacks on a blue conveyor. Rated output is 2,000 finished lids per hour. The machine was filmed at the pre-shipment inspection — and footage from the customer's plant shows it installed on their production floor, fully enclosed behind glass doors, standing right beside the injection moulding machines with finished lids coming out on the conveyor. It is in production on that floor today.
This one was matched to a single customer's parts. If yours differ, send a drawing or photos and we will tell you whether a machine like this can assemble them, and how fast.
