Pakistan · Food Storage Containers · Two-Station Lid Seal Ring Assembly Machine
In this job, a flexible seal ring goes into a rectangular clear food container lid with tabs along its sides, and two stations do it at the same time. For a customer in Pakistan, we supplied a two-station machine that puts the ring into the lid. The two stations sit side by side under one steel frame, each with a fixture shaped to fit the lid; at each station, pneumatic grippers hold a seal ring over the lid and set it in place, and both stations work at the same time. A gantry with grippers transfers the parts between the fixtures — in the video, red sensor beams can be seen on the lids as they are positioned — and finished lids move out to a table at the side of the machine. Rated output is 800 finished lids per hour, and the machine is now in use at the customer's plant.
Configured for one customer's parts, as each of our assembly machines is. Send us your drawing or photos and we will tell you if we can assemble your parts, and how quickly.
